We’re thrilled to welcome Lauren Lee as the newest member of the Active Chartered Financial Planners’ team, as our strategic growth continues.
Lauren began her journey in financial services as an apprentice back in 2011 and has worked for several local firms since, gaining significant industry experience across a wide range of disciplines. Lauren studied throughout this time, completing the diploma in financial planning in 2019 and becoming a chartered fellow in 2022.
Fast forward to 2025 and Lauren is stepping into the role of chartered paraplanner, where she will initially be supporting the current adviser team with the more technical aspects of their role.
While Lauren’s primary focus will be in the research and report writing team, her true passion is compliance.
“Some people see compliance as quite boring, but when done in the right way, it adds great value not only to the client, but to the business too.”, says Lauren.
“I am a bit of a problem solver, and seeing first-hand how frustrating challenges can be for advisers, I thought I could help by streamlining processes and improving the overall experience for both clients and financial planners.”
Lauren lived in Abu Dhabi with her husband and young daughter for just over two years, before returning to the UK in March 2024.
“Having known about Active for many years, I knew they shared the same ambition and values as I do, so when the opportunity arose to become part of the team, it felt like a natural fit.” Said Lauren.

Lauren becomes the 12th Chartered Financial Planner, and the 14th Chartered qualified individual overall in the Active Team!
